Alpine skiing and snowboarding
Mountain skiing is a popular sport in Armenia. And it is not accidental. Having become one of the ski centers of the USSR in the 80s of the last century, Armenia attracts more attention of skiers and snowboarders.
For lovers of winter recreation, the three resorts arouse more interest, such as Jermuk, Sevan, and, of course, Tsakhkadzor. The slopes of Mount Teghenis are, of course, 50 interesting tracks: 1st turn (with slopes of up to 50 degrees), 2nd turn (for beginners), 3rd turn (for all, from mere lovers to pro-riders. Here there are many tracks), an old gutter (for extreme sports lovers) and virgin descent (a convenient route for snowboarders.) The ropeway functions all year round.
The ski season in Tsakhkadzor starts from the middle of December and lasts until the end of March.

Tsakhkadzor Routes
Both professional and beginners will find their own route in the most famous ski resort Tsaghkadzor in Armenia. The part of the slopes is designed for quiet skiing.

Tsaghkadzor Resort
There are many hotels and tourist centers in the resort. There is a large sports complex, several modern elevators and swimming pools (including indoor ones).

Jermuk and Sevan
In addition to Tsaghkadzor, lovers of alpine skiing and snowboarding will certainly appreciate the mountain slopes of Jermuk and Sevan. Both resorts have opportunities for active winter recreation and pleasant leisure.
