Cultural and educational tours

In 2018, capital of Armenia – Yerevan will turn 2800 years old. The chronicle of Erebuni-Erevan is preserved in artifacts, now mostly located in the ruins of the Erebuni Fortress, the Erebuni Museum and the Historical Museum of Armenia. The very same fortress was included by Forbes magazine in the list of “9 most ancient fortresses in the world”.
However the history of Armenia originates from even more ancient millennia, the evidence of which is also kept in other museums of the country and under the open sky in the face of numerous architectural monuments.
The cultural and educational tours developed by us take their participants through all the layers of the cultural heritage of the Armenian people. The written and artistic heritage in it should particularly be considered the oldest specimens of which are kept in the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts Matenadaran named after St. Mesrop Mashtots. Many ancient manuscripts are decorated with the works of the Armenian miniaturists, which became a separate landmark of world painting.
The best works of Armenian artists and sculptors of the pre-Soviet and Soviet periods are kept in the Yerevan Museum of Modern Art and in the National Gallery of Armenia, where many masterpieces of foreign artists are also exhibited. Among museums in Yerevan, it is worth mentioning the museum of the great director and artist Sergei Parajanov.
Currently, many private galleries are opened particularly in Yerevan, where the most interesting works of contemporary individual artists are exhibited.
Our cultural and educational tours also include visits to other cultural sights of Armenia, concert halls and other places where tourists can listen and watch Armenian folk songs and dances, as well as familiarize themselves with the customs of the rites of the Armenian nation.
